The Pressure Drop Pilot Plant is an advanced educational system designed for the study of fluid dynamics and pressure drops in hydraulic circuits. The equipment allows for the analysis of fluid behavior through different hydraulic components installed in the circuit, enabling the measurement of pressure variations associated with each element.
The trainer consists of a hydraulic circuit complete with a pump, flow meter, and experimental sections dedicated to the study of distributed and concentrated pressure drops. Thanks to the modular configuration of the system, students can perform practical tests on pipes, valves, and fittings, understanding the fundamental principles of fluid mechanics applied to industrial processes and hydraulic systems.
The IT-DPA automated version integrates a PID controller for the automatic control of water flow, ensuring high precision, stability, and repeatability during laboratory exercises.
